Halloween 2009

I love Holidays. I love bringing joy to my kids, sharing imagination and tradition. We had friends and family over for a chinese food feed. During which, the kids fought over who got to hand candy out to early trick or treaters. We attended various events around town, got good and spooked by the neighborhood gorilla, (poor silas!)....and of course did the door to door treating. What a great day!

Malakai's Halloween Party

Malakai had his Halloween party today. I didn't get to go, but Grandma Jude snuck in there and took some great shots for us. We also made some great snacks for his party! Tomorrow we add blood and weapons to his fearless Ninja costume, (they weren't allowed at school).

Helper Day

Silas had is Halloween Party at Preschool today. It was also his helper day...so Josh and I were both there. He was so excited to wear his costume and have his face painted. Days like today filled to the brim with happy moments with your kids make life go around for me. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Malakai in Sports

A couple shots of recent games for Malakai.

Octoberfest

Silas' preschool does a fundraiser each fall. There is an auction, food and the kids sing. It was Silas' first time taking the stage, as a mom you just never know how its gonna go. But he was a kick! He sang his little heart out and loved every minute of it.

Pumpkin Fun

Silas and Zion carved their pumpkins with dad. As you can see Zion got a little attached to his!

Malakai's Class

Josh and I volunteer in Kai's class each week. Today his teacher asked us to carve pumpkins with the kids. We had a great time carving pumpkins with 21 enthustiastic 1st graders! I also baked the seeds, half sweet and half salty, for the kids to enjoy at their party tomorrow!

Malakai's First Basketball Practice

This week was Malakai's first basketball practice. It so much fun and so hard for Josh and I to sit back and not go out and join the kids! He has grown so close to this group of kids. They have played Baseball, Soccer and basketball together.

Brotherly Love

Balloon Rally

We had a very memorable day during the balloon rally! All three boys got to ride on several hot hair balloons. It was a great day with family and friends!

Pumpkin Patch

Silas' field trip to the pumpkin patch with his preschool class. His classmates were kinda hesitant with the slide. Of course Silas pushes to the front and gets a running start to go head first down the slide. You can see his teacher grabbed for him lol.
