Silas Turns 4

Silas had two Birthday celebrations! The first one was with his Family at El Caporal in Prosser. We were a rowdy bunch that had a great time together! Silas was blessed beyond imagination with everything a little boy could be given! He got a real set of chaps and riding vest with some fancy cowboy extras! He got a really cool dinosaur, and lots of animal things, some birthday money for his savings account and some horse riding lessons too! He wanted to sit by his cake all night, which had a elk hunter on it, hunting down a elk! He was thrilled with that!

The second celebration was at Prosser Burger King with kids from his preschool class, 3 cousins and his little brother too! The kids had a great time. They loved the animals masks, and the pin the tail on the donkey game too! They spent lots of time climbing thru the tubes and growling at each other. Silas had a cupcake "cake" that was decorated with a barn and farm animals. He was given some great gifts that he loved! He said his favorite part was getting his marsh mellow roaster from Aunt Sarah! lol Gotta love this kid!

As a parent I hope Silas will always remember turning 4, but I realize that it will probably fade into memories of a happy childhood because of good family and friends!

Cal Ripken Begins

Spring has come! With it brought a busy March for us. Malakai finished up wrestling and started Baseball. Soon he'll be playing Baseball, Soccer and more Wrestling! Malakai and Luke are on the same baseball team. They always pair up together to play catch and always make sure they are standing next to each other too! It's going to be a lot of fun watching them both! My nerves need a break from the nail biting matches from wrestling. Silas and Zion enjoy going to practices too, Silas got a change to hang out on chief's pant leg. Of course Malakai is super excited to get his first real mustang, white and red baseball jersey!

1st Grade Concert

Malakai and Hannah are in first grade together. They had their 1st grade concert in March. They were so cute! These moments are so sweet because soon they'll think they are too cool for things like this! At one point Malakai was suppose to link arms with the girls on each side of him, his arms stayed tight to his side with some pink cheeks to go with his shy smile! Afterwards I told him in not too long he'll be singing a different tune about girls, well I hope not too soon! Malakai got to sing his ultimate favorite song, "I've been working on the Railroad!"

Wapato Wrestling Tournament

Malakai wrestled his firt tournament of the season yesterday at Wapato. I know I am his mom but I am so proud of him! Malakai won 3 of 4 matches! He had several cousins at the match, Papa and Nona came to watch as well as an Aunt and his brothers came by to make sure he was winning too! We had a great day, enjoyed hanging out with so many other Prosser Wrestling fans, and parents! Prosser was well represented! Did I mention he felt so good about how he wrestled he had a shirt made with the name "Killer" on the back! Well, that was Uncle Eric's idea but Malakai really liked it!

A Birthday Party

Its so fun having close friends with kids the same age! The kids went to a Birthday Party at Columbia Basin Gymnastics in Richland. The kids had an amazing time. Josh and I really enjoyed seeing laugh and have a good time. It was hard taking pictures in there, the light was really bad, very frustrating with so many great shots I wanted to capture!

With a Spring in our step!

We love early release days! The kids and I sneak in some extra play before practices, homework and housework! Today the kids felt some need for speed, so what a better place than Papa's house? My dad built a custome swingset, that is unbelieveable! He is starting on a merry-go-round, it's a little kids paradise! After a very entertaining baseball game....Malakai jumped on his four wheeler. Malakai took me for a ride, of course I think he goosed it a little more than usual just to hear mom squeal and I am not one to dissapoint! He took pity on his little brothers and took them for a spin too, they were much tougher than mom. Silas' four wheeler is in the shop so he rode Malakai's solo tonight. I nearly had a heart attack but he is a natural! I will be thankful when we get his back, and he can actually reach the brake! I am blessed with amazing boys who are my greatest happiness! I am blessed with parents who think nothing of hooking up the trailer to the tractor and giving rides to the river, just because! As you can see Zion is loves it so much he nearly falls asleep. Today was a good day, yes it was!
