Christmas Day
Malakai wrote a letter to Santa thanking him and wishing him safe travels, the kids had ate all the cookies we made for Santa so Oreos were the fall back! Santa finished wrapping presents shortly after 1 am! Malakai woke up at 2:30 am with shouts of glee, Santa had come! I was able to hold him off until 5:30, shortly after Papa and Nona arrived in time to see the kids open their gifts. It was a wonderful Christmas morning! We kicked aside paper and boxes, mom and I cooked up a feast for breakfast while dad and Josh got to work on putting everything together! Shortly after, we joined everyone at my parent's house and had a wonderful turkey dinner. Malakai was quite confused when all his presents were empty boxes! He was so sweet he kept saying, It's ok! Under a sheet in the next room was a custom made electric train table that had been lovingly built by Papa. If you know Malakai you know he loves nothing more than trains! He literally hit the floor when the sheet was pulled back. There wasn't a dry eye in the house! Silas and Zion were blessed with great things too. What a Christmas to remember!
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve this year we started early at Doug and Judawn's house or rather Chief and Grandma Judes! The kids had a lot of fun opening their gifts and sharing time with Luke, Hannah, Paige and Zachary. Then we hit the road! With a stop in Sunnyside to see a Grandma, then to Yakima to have a wonderful Christmas Lunch at Josh's grandparents house and then ended the evening in Zillah at my Aunts house. The kids were abundantly blessed and loved!

Cookies with a favortie Aunt

Aunt Rose had been planning a cookie decorating day with the kids for 3 weeks! They have been so excited! Zion was up at 4:30 asking if it was time to go to Aunt Rosies yet. We were able to hold them off until 8. Aunt Rose made adorable matching aprons for the kids complete with their names. She had her hands full making the dough, the frosting with three capable bakers. She left the decorating up to them! I heard of one minor incident of a flour explosion from using torpedo speed on the flour, see Malakai's picture. The cookies were yummie with extra frosting and sprinkles just how mom and dad like them! We are blessed with wonderful family!

Santa Train 2009
We rode the santa train at the snoqualmie railroad yesterday. We had a wonderful time! They have hosted the santa train for 40 years! The kids saw santa, and recieved a gift from him too! We sang christmas carols on the train too! There was hot cocoa and cookies in a train at the station that really hit the spot. We stopped at the ski resort and played in the snow before we headed home. It was a great memory for Christmas 2009!
